Sig Sauer
Sig Sauer had its roots in firearms production for well over 100 years. They have manufactured various rifles and handguns that have been adopted by law enforcement agencies and militaries around the world. Sig Sauer products have generated a reputation as some of the best production firearms ever manufactured.
The P210 9mm was their foray into the handgun market. In the 1970’s SIG began working with German firm Sauer and Sons to produce a high-quality pistol named the P220 to replace the P210. Several handguns progressed out of the design of the P220 including the P225, P245, P226, P228, P229, P239, P230, P232 and, most recently, P250 and P238. Sig Sauer also makes 1911-pattern handguns under the guise of the GSR series. They even produce 22-caliber pistols under the Mosquito and P522 designations, as well as the Sig Pro series of polymer-framed handguns.
Sig Sauer currently produces semi-automatic rifles in 223 REM/556 NATO in the Sig 556 series. They also produce 22 long rifle variants in the Sig 522 series.
The quality on all Sig Sauer products is second-to-none. Their pistols have a world-wide reputation for durability and accuracy while the newer 556 lineup is based on the proven design of SIG’s long history of combat rifle performance stemming from the SIG 550 assault rifle.
If you are looking for the absolute best in reliability, look no further than the Sig Sauer lineup of rifles and handguns.
