Cobra Enterprises: Cobra Derringers
Chad R. Reimer

Cobra firearms have a wide range of Derringer Pistols to choose from. Cobra derringers are among some of the most sought-after classic American Derringers. Cobra Enterprises used the famous Davis Derringers design and began to manufacture these fine Derringer Pistols. The Derringer has long been a must-have for concealed carry, with its ultra light weight and sheik design. At one time, you would not have been able to catch a cowboy or gambler without one. Today, the Cobra Derringer has found a new place in the hearts and hands of many.

For around $100, any of these high-quality Derringers could be yours. The popularity is bound to keep growing for these wonderful firearms. In the past, many people purchased Derringer Kits, with sometimes deadly results. The kits available were of poor quality and had inexperienced people assembling them. For a nominal fee of five to ten dollars more, one can acquire a working and functional Derringer Firearm; I see no point in purchasing a potentially deadly Derringer Kit, because you only get one life.

After firing my Cobra Derringer, I found it to be about as comfortable as you can get with a micro-sized firearm. This was my first Derringer Firearm; I had the pleasure of firing without a sore hand afterwards, due to the compact size. While Cobra Derringers are powerful firearms, they manage to keep it all in a nice and compact package.

Since the start of American Derringers history, these fine pistols have become much more dependable, by changing to modern ammunitions. Aside from the ammunition, the safety system works much better then original, low-quality steel made in the past. In addition to the low cost of these remarkable little guns, they come in a wide variety of styles and modern calibers.
