I have tried 3 different light/laser combos ]2-red & 1-green[, all brand names & major manufacturers. All 3 tries have been mounted to rails under the barrell on handguns. Springfield XD-m, Baretta PYX, H&K USP Tactical ]which requires a mounting bracket from HK so the rail is extended to open at the muzzle[. They have always been a snap to zero, and the hold their zero thru some rough handling. The rumor of it not being adjustable is flat out wrong. Windage & elevation is not only easily adjustable via included allen key, but that allen key has an ingeniuos slot on board so you always have it with you, and those adjustments can be made without having to take the unit off the weapon. I had one experience with the ghost or echo, and it''s because there are actually 2 panes of glass of the light itself. Just like single, double or triple pane windows, if you light a match and hold it up to the glass, you will see 1, 2, or 3 reflections in the glass. One from each pane of glass in which there is a reflection. I returned that unit to Sig Sauer, and was sent a brand new unit with no questions asked ]really good customer service[ and have found that if you zero the laser correctly, and you turn the light on when using the laser ]in either steady or strobe mode, the echo is essentially invisable. And it''s not needed in daylight, the echo is faint enough so as to be invisable by day, and at night, turning the light on when using the laser is not too big of a hurdle. Last comment is the price that is standard on this website ]TGS[ is the lowest in the marketplace. About 1/2 of MSRP, and at least $50-$75 less than other specialized web sites. This is the lowest and it''s been the price ever since I first found it. At this point I have on on each of my semi-auto pistols, except for 2 revolvers which carry the crimson trace grip, and the H&K which has the green light/laser combo. I endorse this product without hesitation, and have and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost, high value accessory to your firearm. Now Sig has combined this unit with a vertical foregrip, just as the AR15 & AR15-22 are becoming more popular for home defense, typical of Sig Sauer''s looking to be just ahead of the marketplace. I''ll get 2 of those, one for my AR, and one for my tactical shotgun.
